Design-to-Code Pipeline

A tool that bridges complex Figma designs and production-ready frontend code, cutting down the manual work of turning design files into maintainable components.

What I did

• Built a Figma MCP-based agent that reads a strict JSON manifest contract describing components, tokens, and layout rules
• Connected the agent to an existing Gulp-based build system (SCSS/BEM, gulp-file-include, SVG sprite generation)
• Automated the generation of markup and styles that match design tokens exactly, reducing back-and-forth between design and development
• Documented the manifest contract so designers and developers share a single source of truth

Result

New components go from Figma to a working, standards-compliant implementation in a fraction of the time it used to take manually, with far fewer visual discrepancies.
